Yes, I am a little surprised by the results tonight.  The truth is, I didn’t even remember Kris’s performance at the end of the night.  I did go back and watch it and I am actually glad he made it through.  He sounded great in some parts of his song, but there were some rough spots.  But he has a great voice and I will be looking forward to seeing more from him.

There was a small part of me that expected an upset from Nick Mitchell aka Norman Gentle.

Allison was the best performance of the night for me and I think she has the chops to go very far.  Adam Lambert has some skills and I can easily see him in the Top 6.  I think after we see next week’s performances we will have a more clear picture of who we really need to be watching for.

Until then, be blessed.

I was surprised, too, by Kris, Phil. I couldn’t remember him, either. I surely thought that Megan would go through, from all that the judges said. And I’m a bit disappointed for Kai. I hope he will be among those chosen for the wildcard.

I was happy for all three people who got through this week, particularly Allison and Kris, since neither one got much screentime in the previous rounds. They made it by singing and performing well, which is how it should be.
